MyDonate for BT
Branding and communications for BT's not-for-profit fundraising platform
MyDonate is BT's free fundraising service - unlike JustGiving and VirginMoneyGiving, all monies raised via the service go directly to the charity (paying out an extra 5p in the pound).
This makes a difference to all charities - but especially to the small and medium ones.
The best approach was to partner with large events - events that attract a huge number
of fundraisers collecting money for many different charities - so that the essential 'more
money for your charity' proposition filtered through to fundraisers and charities alike.
We created bespoke promotional material for the events (like Sports Relief, Children
in Need, Great North Run) aimed at encouraging the fundraisers to use the platform.
We launched on Facebook and rolled the service out on mydonate.bt.com as well as
iPhone and Android apps so people can track their fundraising progress.
